Renata Balla

  Renata started her hospitality career working in 5 star hotels in Budapest Hungary whilst studying for her Bachelor degree in hotel management.

After graduating and with a great interest in traveling she started working for luxury cruise line Radisson Seven Seas which was later renamed Regent Seven Seas. She started onboard the Radisson Diamond as a waitress and worked her way up to Head Waitress onboard both the Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager.
In 2004 Renata was promoted to Maître D'Hôtel in the signature restaurant under auspices of “Le Cordon Blue”. She held this position 4 years circumnavigating the world.

Having worked for more than 10 years on cruise ships Renata was given the opportunity to start in the yachting industry working for the Royal Family in the United Arab Emirates. She started as Chief Stewardess and was promoted after a couple of years to Hotel Manager/Purser onboard 92 meter MY Dubawi managing many special events and voyages for the family. In this role she also assisted the other vessels in the royal fleet like MY Smeralda, MY Red Sapphire and MY Dubai.

Early 2016 Renata decided to make a career change and start her own company in the UAE and work as one of our global trainers for IYS.
