Lev Zaitsev

At the age of 19, while attending Florida International University, Lev has his eureka moment after tasting his first 1998 Saint-Émilion Bordeaux. From that moment on his passion was wine.

After completing his studies at FIU, Lev went on to becoming an ISA Certified Sommelier and WSET instructor.

Now 11 years later, he has experience in all sides of the wine business, from import, wholesale, retail and fine dining, along with being a guest speaker and part time instructor at FIU and UM, on various aspects of the wine industry.
 
Currently Lev is Director of Operations at Cellars Wine and Spirits, a Yacht Provisioning and Large Boutique Retail Operation in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. He also is a partner in a wine brokerage based in Miami, FL.
