Georgie Vintner specialises in Food Safety Training through her company Yachtwork. She has been involved in the Hospitality industry since qualifying as a chef at 18 years old. She then went on to complete her studies at Cardiff University successfully gaining a BSc Hons In Hotel and Institutional Management.
From there Georgie became a Hospitality Events Manger for 2 years before starting her 9 years as a chief stewardess. This 9 year career took Georgie all over the world working on both Motor Yachts and Classic Sailing Yachts.
Choosing to have a family she progressed to become a lecturer and programme leader for the Hospitality Department at a Southampton based College. Her role included lead internal verifier for departmental quality assurance. Also contract working for Pearson/Edexcel as Chief Examiner and standards verifier.
The last 4 years have seen Georgie become involved in the delivery of the PYA Guest Program and launch a new training centre “Yachtwork Training” providing internationally recognized and MCA approved Food Safety Qualifications and the Ships Cook Certificate.
